Role Overview
We are seeking a commercially minded and execution-driven Investment Manager to join our Berlin-based team. The successful candidate will play a leading role in sourcing, underwriting, and executing real estate investments across Germany. This is a high-impact role with full exposure to the investment lifecycle, from origination through to exit.
Key Responsibilities
Source and assess real estate investment opportunities across Germany, focusing on value-add and special situations
Build and maintain relationships with brokers, developers, advisors, and operating partners
Lead underwriting and financial modelling, including DCF, IRR, and scenario analysis
Coordinate due diligence workstreams, including legal, technical, tax, and ESG assessments
Support deal structuring, negotiations, and preparation of investment committee materials
Collaborate with asset management team to monitor performance and drive value creation initiatives post-acquisition
Conduct market research and track trends in capital markets, occupier demand, and regulatory developments in key German cities
Represent the firm in external meetings and contribute to thought leadership within the team
Candidate Profile
5–8 years of experience in private equity real estate, investment banking (real estate), or principal investment roles
Proven track record of leading deals or playing a central role in successful transactions in Germany
Deep understanding of German real estate markets, investment fundamentals, and local regulatory environment
Advanced financial modelling and commercial analysis skills
Independent and proactive mindset with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders
Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken)
Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field; MRICS, CFA, or similar credentials are a plus
