A leading investment firm with a strong track record in mid-market transactions is seeking a Senior Associate / Investment Manager to join their growing team in Berlin. This is an opportunity for a highly skilled investment professional with 6-8 years of experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, M&A, or Advisory to take a key role in executing deals and driving value across a diverse portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deal Execution: Manage the full transaction lifecycle, from origination to closing, including due diligence, valuation, and deal structuring.
• Portfolio Management: Drive value creation initiatives and support management teams in achieving strategic goals.
• Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex models, perform valuations, and prepare investment memos.
• Market Analysis: Identify trends, source new opportunities, and conduct comprehensive industry research.
• Investment Proposals: Prepare and present detailed recommendations to the investment committee.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with advisors, legal counsel, and other third parties throughout the transaction process.

Candidate Requirements:

• 6-8 years of experience in Private Equity, M&A, Investment Banking, or Strategy Consulting, with a strong track record in mid-market transactions.
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills with the ability to evaluate complex opportunities.
• Proven experience working on buy-side transactions and managing portfolio companies.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing investment materials.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects under tight deadlines.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
