Join our Project Delivery & Engineering team as the Head of Project Execution, where you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating complex offshore wind construction projects, optimizing cross-functional workflows, and delivering on our ambitious goals for fossil freedom.
We are now looking to recruit a manager with extensive experience in leading a team of (senior project) managers and large-scale infrastructure projects to take on the position as Head of Project Execution in Project Delivery & Engineering, in our business unit Offshore Wind. You will be reporting to the Head of Project Delivery & Engineering in Offshore Wind.
Offshore Wind is part of Business Area Wind which is responsible for Vattenfall’s Onshore and Offshore Wind as well as other non-hydro renewable activities like Solar and Batteries. Today we develop, construct and operate wind farms across Europe. Project Delivery & Engineering is responsible for the maturation and execution of our construction projects. Our vision is to be one step ahead of competition in safely constructing next generation offshore wind farms while deploying our knowledge already during the planning and contracting phases in order to secure successful project delivery.
As Project Delivery & Engineering, we are in the centre of making a fossil-free future become reality by delivering some of the largest infrastructure projects in the world safely, timely, of high quality and within budget in a complex and dynamic environment.

Your role
As the Head of Project Execution, you will be responsible to drive and deliver Project Management Excellence during maturation and construction of our projects. It will be your responsibility to head the department of approximately 55 headcounts. You will be responsible to develop and maintain the right processes and competences to fully manage all technical and commercial aspects during execution to deliver the construction projects safely on time, budget and quality until handover to Generation.
You will lead a team of line managers for Construction & Logistics, Contract Management and System Integration as well as a group of EPC Directors and the Product Portfolio Director.
You will inspire continuous learning by securing lessons learned back into the department and thereby continue to improve our ways of working to ensure execution excellence and us being always one step ahead of our competitors. As part of the management team of Project Delivery & Engineering, you will be working with your colleagues in the business unit Offshore Wind to secure alignment across departments and to deliver our strategy.
