As HR Business Partners, our mission is to collaborate closely with trivago's business leads on all people-related topics. How you’ll make an impact:

  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement people strategies that foster organizational and team growth
  • Provide expert consultation to business leaders on a wide range of people management topics, including leadership, performance, compensation, and staffing
  • Offer strategic advice during change management processes, such as organizational restructurings
  • Engage closely with business leaders to understand and clarify people forecasting and planning, offering informed advice
  • Support the recruitment process in partnership with our recruiting specialists, participating in interviews and advising on hiring decisions
  • Analyze people data to identify trends and recommend solutions that enhance organizational effectiveness and employee experience
  • Collaborate with HR teams (Talent Development, Talent Acquisition) on projects aimed at creating and implementing cutting-edge HR processes and tools

What you'll need to thrive:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience as an HR Business Partner, demonstrating a solid foundation in HR practices and principles
  • Proven track record in business partnering on talent and organizational topics, showcasing your ability to align HR strategies with business goals
  • Speed in understanding the structure and dynamics of functions and teams, enabling you to assess development and recruitment needs accurately
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a talent for multitasking and managing multiple priorities effectively
  • Assertive and effective communication skills; you are capable of navigating and engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organizational hierarchy
  • Fluency in English, the company’s working language, is required, along with proficiency in German to ensure clear and concise communication
  • Good understanding of German labor law, providing a solid basis for advising on HR matters within the legal framework
