Are you a results-driven leader passionate about building high-performing teams, driving growth, and getting hands-on with sales? We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our DACH core manufacturing sales force to new heights.

As our Sales Manager, you will not only inspire and guide our DACH core manufacturing sales team to achieve ambitious goals but also actively engage in all hands-on sales tasks, setting an example and ensuring targets are met. What you will do

Strategic sales leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with core manufacturing objectives to drive growth and profitability
  • Actively engage in personal sales efforts, securing key clients and making individual contributions to revenue
  • Monitor market trends and performance data to provide actionable insights, refine strategies, and identify growth opportunities

Team management and development

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of account managers and internal salespeople, offering guidance, training, and support to ensure their success
  • Set clear goals and performance metrics, delivering constructive feedback to foster a results-driven and collaborative team culture
  • Partner with team members to develop customized plans for achieving individual targets and career growth
  • Encourage innovation and adaptability, ensuring the team thrives in a competitive and evolving market

Client and market engagement

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through strategic account planning and exceptional service delivery
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to maintain a competitive edge
  • Translate market insights into actionable sales tactics that align with company goals

CRM and data-driven decision-making

  • Leverage CRM Dynamics to monitor leads, manage the sales pipeline, and ensure no opportunities are missed
  • Train the team to effectively use CRM Dynamics for consistent data entry, streamlined workflows, and enhanced customer interactions
  • Use CRM analytics to track performance, identify trends, and optimize sales strategies

Performance analysis and reporting

  • Regularly analyze sales performance, pipelines, and revenue forecasts to identify areas of improvement
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and strategic recommendations
  • Ensure accountability and continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making

Personal sales contributions

  • Actively secure high-value accounts by identifying opportunities, crafting tailored proposals, and closing strategic deals
  • Lead by example, showcasing excellence in sales techniques, client engagement, and delivering results

Your profile

  • Proven sales leadership: demonstrated success in sales management, ideally within an innovative, fast-paced, or rapidly evolving industry
  • Exceptional leadership abilities: a skilled team builder and motivator with a talent for mentoring and inspiring individuals to achieve their full potential
  • Strong communication skills: excellent interpersonal and presentation skills in German and English, with the ability to connect effectively with clients, team members, and senior management
  • Data-driven strategist: proficient in using data to inform sales strategies, track performance, and identify growth opportunities
  • Educational background: a master’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field is preferred
  • Tech-savvy approach: expertise in CRM software (e.g., Dynamics) and familiarity with modern sales tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency
  • Adaptability and vision: a forward-thinking mindset with the ability to navigate change, stay ahead of industry trends, and drive innovation within the sales team
