  • Responsible for all business activities of Konecranes Lift Trucks in your assigned territory Germany from initial sales contact to final delivery.
  • You will establish secure and maintain relationships with distributors, existing and potential customers, and use your market knowledge to secure long-term business opportunities within your assigned territory Germany.
  • You will be responsible for Key Account and Distributor management throughout the territory, including preparing forecasts and managing sales and financial reporting routines.
  • You will also be active in developing the wider Lift Trucks strategy for the Region and implementing action plans together with Regional Management and Lift Trucks business unit.
  • You will negotiate dealer/distributor agreements & manage price negotiations based on directives from BU Lift Trucks.
  • You will provide feedback to Quality and R&D to improve and develop product quality and represent Konecranes in trade shows and conferences.
  • Secure long-term support business and develop service within your assigned territory Germany.
  • You will be responsible to lead and develop a team of sales, after sales, and administrators by providing guidance, training, and mentorship, setting targets, clear rules, and responsibilities.
  • Follow BU Lift Trucks guidelines and reporting structure.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications :

Requirements and competence :

You will need to be a highly motivated self-starter equipped with strong business acumen, an engineering mindset, and be able to work across a multitude of cultures. You must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to internally manage both up and down as well as across the organization. You must possess demonstrable experience in customer base management, a strong sales orientation, a proven track record of capturing new business or business segments, and the capability to develop and implement sustainable business development and operational plans. Previous experience in the Lift Truck manufacturing business is highly preferred.
