What you'll do
You will be a part of our multicultural and dedicated team of 17 passionate members bringing substantial improvements to the Finance function by streamlining the global statutory financial reporting processes, enhancing controls and reducing costs. Besides, you will actively collaborate with our subsidiary companies in Germany, the United States and Canada.
After your morning routine, you'll be expected to...
- IFRS implementation : spearhead the adoption of IFRS across the organization, ensuring accurate and consistent application in financial reporting
- Group consolidation : oversee and improve accurate and timely financial reporting across subsidiaries
- Compliance and controls : develop internal control frameworks and documentation to ensure SOX compliance and monitor financial and compliance risks
- Process standardization : establish standardized financial processes and controls across subsidiaries
What you bring to the table…
- A degree or qualification in Accounting (ACCA, CPA, etc.)
- Strong background and several years of progressive experience in consolidation and compliance according to IFRS and German GAAP (HGB)
- Experience with SOX compliance in publicly listed and transnational companies
- Strong analytical skills coupled with the drive to build and implement efficient processes
