Responsibilities

As an Expert Event IT and Site IT in the Corporate Service Management department, you will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional user experience in the newly created Energy Club conference area at Brüsseler Platz in Essen. The Energy Club is an integral part of our building concept at our Corporate Headquarters, and you will contribute significantly to customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in the planning and execution of large-scale events, such as annual general meetings, board chats, or townhall meetings. Your expertise in event IT and site IT will contribute to the success of these events, ensuring that the technology functions flawlessly and enhances the overall experience for attendees.

Meaningful & Challenging - Your Tasks

• You maintain and operate the IT in the Energy Club conference area, including meeting room technology, to ensure its proper functioning.
• You provide technical consulting and assistance to users in case of technical challenges with the meeting room technology.
• You assist users in the VR room, offering guidance and support for optimal utilization of the VR technology.
• You collaborate with event organizers and stakeholders to support the planning and execution of large-scale events, ensuring the availability and functionality of Event IT and site IT.
• You set up and operate audiovisual equipment during events, ensuring a seamless and high-quality setup.
• You coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure the availability and functionality of necessary equipment and resources for events.
• You stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in technology to enhance the overall user experience.
• You continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Understanding of network technologies, PCs, operating systems, and peripheral devices.
• Experience in handling sound engineering, microphones, and speakers.
• Expertise in mobile equipment for video conferencing audio.
