The Account Exec / Office Administrator will be based in our German office, working closely with our Sales Director for International Markets. This hybrid role involves supporting the Sales Director with account management duties including provision of sales materials and liaison with the customers. You will also act as the key liaison with our UK teams such as Operations, Shipping and Sales Support. Additionally, the role will include managing the office and overseeing activities related to setting up the German office and overall business operations.
Responsibilities:
- To provide excellent administrative and sales support to a range of accounts.
- Support with any pre-sale administration required, such as, but not limited to: Presentation grids, sending samples to customers in Europe through liaison with the sales support team in the UK and fulfilling image and marketing requests.
- Create presentations for Customer meetings that represent our products amazingly well!
- Management of the sample library in the office.
- Support the Sales Director by effectively communicating with customers and serving as a primary point of contact in his absence.
- Serve as the primary liaison for Germany to stay informed about deliveries to the EU warehouse and maintain awareness of current stock levels.
- Develop a good understanding of the market in the EU in order to support the Sales Director.
- Support finance team in UK HQ with invoicing to GER customers.
- Coordinate with all departments in the UK HQ in order to effectively manage the office in Germany including but not limited to finance, HR, sales support and marketing.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a commercial apprenticeship.
- Previous experience in a sales support role and/or office management position.
- Strong customer service ability providing support and resolving issues in a clear and professional manner.
- Fluent in German and proficient in English, both written and verbal, with additional languages an advantage.
- Computer literate with good Excel & PowerPoint skills and a good knowledge of MS Office.
- Previous experience of Microsoft Dynamics would be beneficial but training will be given.
- Ability to multi-task and manage your own time in a fast-changing environment.
- Confidence and good written & verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and flexibility.
