Working Student (f/m/d) - Corporate Social Responsibility

What you'll do

As a working student in the Corporate Social Responsibility team, you will support team members globally, primarily focusing on the EMEA region, gaining hands-on experience in running a modern and award-winning CSR strategy. You will work closely with the team to ensure that the CSR Strategy is executed effectively and to support the successful operation of CSR activities virtually and on the ground.

Some concrete tasks include:

  • Supporting regional and local team members in driving a global strategy in the respective regions.
  • Conducting research and analysis on CSR-related topics, such as best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory developments, providing actionable insights to inform strategy.
  • Creating strategic communication materials, including presentations, reports, and other content, ensuring the highest attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Supporting impact measurement activities for the entire CSR portfolio, including collecting data, analysis, and reporting.
  • Attending meetings, taking detailed notes, and following up on action items as needed.
  • Assisting with potential event planning and coordination, including logistics, materials preparation, and attendee tracking.
  • Supporting other ad hoc tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

The preferred start date for the position is as early as possible with 20 hours per week during the semester and desired expanding up to 40 hours per week during non-lecture periods. (Minimum availability should be for at least two semesters)

What you bring

  • Familiarity with social entrepreneurship, impact-driven procurement, and the education and employment challenges faced by young people, including key trends and opportunities.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality of work.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Familiarity with generative AI applications is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Any mix of previous work, intern, and volunteer experience in either a nonprofit and civil society organization or within the corporate sector is appreciated.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is a must as the entire internal communication will be in English.
