For our Digital R&D, we are looking for a passionate, empathic, and innovative Product Owner (f/d/m) who wants to play an integral role in the development of our digital products. A successful candidate will drive the product aspects of a portfolio of several mid- to large-scale software solutions and help to enable a cross-divisional, cross-departmental setup of teams for successful delivery.

Responsibilities

• Development of software products towards customers and stakeholders for our household products, e.g. Thermomix, Cookidoo, Kobold.
• Contribution to the overall product vision and roadmap, definition and elaboration of the team-level backlog, and creation of user stories / concrete requirements in strong collaboration with Product Management, Technology Cross-Functions, and other key stakeholders.
• Collaborate in a dedicated Agile, cross-functional team developing highly innovative digital products for Vorwerk customers.
• Independent management of software development solutions with internal and external partners and coordination of interdisciplinary Agile teams within the Digital R&D.
• Together with your team, take end-to-end responsibility for functional, technical, and operational aspects of your deliveries.
• Development of ideas and holistic solutions for future household products.
• Contribute to and benefit from regular exchanges in our communities.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as Product Owner for software solutions.
• Strong focus on customer value and customer experience.
• Familiar with managing a product that has interfaces to multiple development areas.
• Ability to excel in an Agile and open environment.
• Result-driven mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Experience with Agile scaling frameworks is desirable.
• Bachelor, Master, or PhD in Computer Science or other technical fields is considered a plus in addition to your practical work experience.
• Fluent English language skills; German language is a plus.
