AWS Commerce Platform provides the infrastructure and services that help AWS customers understand and manage their infrastructure costs, as well as enable AWS teams to sell their services.
Our team in AWS Billing (part of AWS Commerce Platform) owns driving and tracking the execution of the billing pipeline. We streamline the operations of billing pipeline by identifying points of manual interventions and providing scalable automated alternatives. We bring visibility into BillRun progress and issues through up-to-date reporting and metrics.
We decompose the AWS billing pipeline to accomplish a zero touch billing experience that is scalable and exceeds the expectations of our AWS customers.
As a senior software engineer in AWS Commerce Platform, you will:
- Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
- Experience in professional, non-internship software development.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
- Experience in development in the last 3 years.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
