Data Scientist

We are currently recruiting Data Scientists for our client, a top multi-national company, where you will be able to work on exciting projects!

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and understand business challenges and opportunities, and formulate data-driven solutions.
2. Extract, preprocess, and analyze large and diverse datasets using statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data mining methods.
3. Develop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems and generate actionable insights.
4. Apply advanced statistical methods to analyze data, perform hypothesis testing, and derive meaningful conclusions.
5. Design and execute experiments and A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of proposed solutions and drive optimization efforts.
6. Visualize and present data-driven insights to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner, enabling informed decision-making.
7. Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality, integrity, and availability for analysis and modeling purposes.
8. Stay up to date with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, and contribute to the enhancement of our data-driven capabilities.
9. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data analysts or data scientists, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Strong research background in machine learning is preferred.
2. Proven experience as a Data Scientist, utilizing statistical modeling, machine learning, and data analysis techniques to solve complex problems.
3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with experience in data manipulation, analysis, and modeling libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch).
4. Solid understanding of statistical concepts, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
5. Experience with data visualization tools and techniques to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
8. Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
9. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders across various departments.
10. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
