Enterprise Search Software Engineer (all genders) - Entwicklung, IT

The candidate from day one will be responsible for the operations of 2-3 German Special Funds within the Team Fund Operations & Finance in its day-to-day operations cooperating with the internal divisions Fund Management, Investment, Asset Management and the external AIFM partner.

MAIN ASSISTS & TASKS:

1. Analyzing operational fund performance and making monthly financial performance checks in reflection with the fund strategy, targets and budgets.
2. Be part of the transaction team.
3. Preparing Investor Board meetings with the Fund Manager and Head of Fund Operations & Finance.
4. Reviewing business processes, analyzing optimization potential and documenting changes and adjustments in a professional manner.
5. Preparing fund financial budgets, requesting real estate operational figures, corporate administration figures and developing P&L projections in local-GAAP accounting schemes and German investment.
6. Analyzing finance, making forecasts and analyzing optional finance together with the internal Finance Manager. Reviewing legal and tax memos, identifying key tax implications and cash flow constraints, and implementing optional finance schemes in financial models as circumstances occur or change.
7. Maintain full insight on the fund vehicles investment corporations (SPVs), track administrative processes, such as registrations, contract signage and closures, drafting contracts and board motions, and ensuring an effective and efficient information workflow between AEW divisions, the AIFM and external consultants.
8. Develop investment structures of new funds, including the investment model, key performance indicators and entire finance scheme, discuss hypothetical fund arithmetic in the team and optimize the model towards successful sale to customers.
9. Maintain responsive and efficient information workflow with other divisions, especially Fund Management.
10. Track contract workflows, gather information and document essentials to the process, discuss process stages and support the team in completing processes efficiently.
11. Prepare internal order forms for money transfer, track workflow and completion.
12. On an as-needed basis, assist in the development of tools and methods in order to optimize the newly established division Fund Operation and Finance.
13. Be part of other internal projects and tasks, if required by the team.

Technical:

1. Very good analytical skills.
2. Exceptional working experience with MS Excel.
3. University study level in Business Administration / Finance / Real estate / Engineering / Tax or Law.
4. Minimum 5 years working experience.
5. Knowledge in finance would be an advantage.
6. Self-endurance, high motivation and affection for real estate and finance.
7. German (business fluent / native) and English (very good skills), French would be an additional asset.
8. Previous experience in a real estate company would be an asset.
