What The Job Looks Like

Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Position Grünenthal’s strategy and the company’s transformational journey for external and internal audiences and ensure convincing storytelling for key stakeholders.
  • Serve as business partner for Grünenthal’s Head of Corporate Strategy and the CFO and provide strategic and actionable communications council.
  • Partner with the Commercial Organisation and the Chief Commercial Officer to support selected strategic initiatives with impactful communication.
  • Lead communication for Grünenthal’s M&A activities.
  • Build a comprehensive communication strategy and execution plan.
  • Create engaging content across internal and external channels, including town hall meetings, leadership roadshows, the intranet, videos, the annual report, social media, and traditional media.
  • Support the strategy, planning, and evaluation process of Grünenthal’s communication team.
What You'll Bring To The Table

To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • Extensive experience in specialized communication including e.g. M&A, financial transactions, strategy communications, change.
  • Experience both in external and internal communication.
  • A combination of strategic and hands-on experience in consultancies and/or in-house roles.
  • Proven expertise in delivering and executing impactful communication strategies.
  • Agility and ability to pivot in a dynamic business environment.
  • Strong cross-functional stakeholder management and influencing skills, working across all hierarchy levels.
  • Strong in both strategic thinking with an enterprise mindset and hands-on execution demonstrating accountability.
  • Strong understanding of corporate strategies and proven business acumen.
  • Ability to translate business strategy and financial results into a compelling narrative.
  • University Degree.
  • Fluency in Business English; additional language skills (esp. German) are a plus.
