Student - DevOps Engineer

In this challenging and important role, you are responsible for innovation projects in the context of our digital transformation and cloud software portfolio. You will work with an ambitious team of software and DevOps engineers that work on new ideas to improve our products as a working student. We strive that you can use results of your work for bachelor and master thesis at universities and universities of applied sciences.

Responsibilities

• Join our team responsible for building, testing, and maintaining the infrastructure that enables us to deliver SaaS to our customers.
• Design, develop and execute automated performance and stress tests on our current cloud infrastructure.
• Design and develop solutions to enhance the scalability of our cloud infrastructure using “Infrastructure as Code.”
• Assist in the implementation and management of security measures for the infrastructure and applications.

Your Background

• Systematic and independent method of working.
• Knowledge in DevOps or Software engineering (as part of your informatics-related studies).
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills (German language skills are a plus).
• Experience with Azure and Azure DevOps Server is preferred.
• Nice to have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, VMware and other virtualization technologies.
