Geospatial Engineer (all genders)

You will be involved in the conception, development, and rollout of software solutions and work on projects for our customers in the defense sector. This includes project steps such as:

• Design of solutions for our clients based on a combination of Hexagon Geospatial products and project-specific developments in German and English.

• Developing client- and server-based applications as well as tools for system integration as part of customer projects and extensions for Hexagon Geospatial products.

• Supporting our project teams in deployment and error analysis on-site with the customer.

You would like to be part of our team in all areas of the development process, such as requirements analysis, specifying software solutions, documentation, creating test cases, and quality assurance.

• You have a degree (Bachelor / Master) in the field of geoinformatics, informatics, geodesy, or a comparable education.

• Ideally, you already have experience in software development with .NET (C#) or JAVA, as well as in database development and modeling (Oracle, MS-SQL).

• You are interested in automating geodata processing processes as well as in object recognition using AI/deep learning.

• Knowledge of geodata processing with the Hexagon Geospatial and Luciad product families is a plus, but not a must-have.

• You have very good German and good English language skills in both written and spoken form.

• You are willing to undertake business trips, mainly in the greater Bonn area.
