Requirements:

• Expertise in AWS and Azure Cloud services
• Containers and orchestration frameworks: Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS
• Experience in Infrastructure and Platform as Service environments
• Re-usable Infrastructure as Code modules with Terraform
• DevOps practices like Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
• Pro-actively keeping up-to-date with industry trends and innovations
• Fluent in English and German

Responsibilities:

• Join our Platform team and help improve the delivery performance of the RWE Supply & Trading GmbH developer teams! We design and implement various platform products (e.g., re-usable cloud infrastructure patterns as code) and educate teams on best practices (e.g., Shift Left Security). With a strong DevOps mindset, we strive for automation to reduce toil.

Tasks:

• Help shape the future platform offered to our developer teams
• Active engagement with development teams
• Evangelize the latest DevOps practices in the company
• Our team is based in Essen (Germany) and Swindon (United Kingdom); traveling is expected
