Group/Division

With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. The RAPID division is the world leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides inspection solutions to both the mask shops and the semiconductor fabs to ensure that lithography yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Als Konstrukteur Elektrotechnik sind Sie für die Planung, Entwicklung und Umsetzung innovativer Projekte im Bereich unserer hochkomplexen Metrologie Systeme für die Halbleiterindustrie verantwortlich. Ihre Aufgaben umfassen die Auswahl geeigneter elektrotechnischer Komponenten, die Konstruktion und Modifikation von Baugruppen und Kabeln sowie den Prototypenbau und die Integration neuer Baugruppen. Sie erstellen und pflegen Stücklisten, Stromlaufpläne und Blockschaltbilder und sind für die Dokumentation und Freigabe von Baugruppen für die Serienfertigung zuständig. Darüber hinaus koordinieren Sie sich technisch mit anderen Fachbereichen und Lieferanten.

• Planung, Entwicklung und Umsetzung innovativer Projekte
• Auswahl geeigneter elektrotechnischer Komponenten
• Konstruktion und Änderung von Baugruppen und Kabeln
• Prototypenbau und Integration neuer Baugruppen
• Erstellung und Pflege von Stücklisten, Stromlaufplänen und Blockschaltbildern
• Erstellung von Dokumentationen und Freigabe von Baugruppen für die Serienfertigung
• Technische Abstimmung mit anderen Fachbereichen und Lieferanten

Fachliche Qualifikation:

• Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Elektrotechnik oder alternativ eine Weiterbildung zum Techniker
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der Elektronikentwicklung und -konstruktion
• Sicherer Umgang mit AutoCAD

Weitere vorteilhafte Qualifikationen:

• Umgang mit einer 3D Design Software wie z.B. Creo Parametrics
• Kenntnisse in den Bereichen Produkt- und Maschinensicherheit (SEMI, CE, UL, NRTL)
• Erfahrung mit EMV-Prüfungen und -Konformität
• Die Dimensionierung von Rechnerarchitekturen und deren Konfiguration
