For our growing business, we are looking to hire an Inhouse Project Manager (m/f/d) within the Water and Agriculture Department.

Job description: As a Project Manager (m/f/d) you will work in a team of consultants in the areas of project management, acquisition of new projects, and business development. We are looking for motivated and committed colleagues (m/f/d) who will support us in the day-to-day management of our ongoing projects and assist us in the acquisition of new projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

1. Expert missions in your field of expertise
2. Preparation of prequalification documents
3. Preparation of technical and financial bids
4. Project Management (technical, administrative, financial)
5. Backstopping missions

Education:

University degree in fields related to:

1. Civil engineering
2. Water management
3. Agriculture and Irrigation
4. Natural Resources Management
5. Environmental engineering
6. Geography

Country / regional experience: Several years of previous working experience in an international environment and development cooperation, preferably in francophone Africa.

Languages: Excellent French language skills and very good English language skills. Language skills in German would be an asset.

Profile:

1. Prior work experience in donor-funded irrigation/agricultural projects
2. Experience with procurement of services/goods considered a distinct asset
3. Ability to work in intercultural teams and willingness to travel abroad
4. Ability to communicate with client and donor agencies
5. Proven writing, communication, and presentation skills
6. Working experience in development cooperation
