About eBay Advertising:

The eBay Advertising team is responsible for managing and enabling advertising solutions on the eBay platform. This includes developing and executing advertising strategies, analyzing performance metrics, and optimizing advertising to drive maximum value for eBay's customers. Additionally, the eBay Ads team is mainly responsible for partnering with retailers and brands to help them reach their visibility and sales goals on eBay.

What you will accomplish:

  • Creating, executing and optimizing overall CPC campaign performance, as well as analyzing campaign performance data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement, in order to boost growth. Evaluating keyword and bidding portfolios through various reporting tools.

  • Manage multiple campaigns for multiple accounts. Efficiently manage time to focus on essential activities to ensure customer satisfaction and account growth.

  • Support and coordinate with the account manager to understand seller targets to reach defined KPIs.

  • Meet quarterly goals while building long-term relationships with sellers.

  • Provide recommendations and regular performance reports to account manager and seller, highlighting key metrics and ROI, on necessary vertical-specific advertising enhancements.

  • Develop and share best practices with team members to continually improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of our processes.

  • Understand the economics of assigned verticals, sales structures, and seller goals, margins, etc.

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholder management.

What you will bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital advertising (SEM, SEA, PPC), account management, performance marketing, CPC expertise such as Google Ads.

  • Hands-on at the operational level of scaling and supervising campaigns.

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities, who can drive growth through data-informed decisions and innovative marketing tactics.

  • Exceptional organizational structured approach, data-driven, and client service skills.

  • Proven experience building strong customer relationships and efficiently communicating internal and external voices.

  • Open-minded, team player, with strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and pressurized environment, and to deal with ambiguity.

  • Excellent German speaking skills and fluent in English written and spoken.

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Google Analytics, Airtable, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholder management.
