Duties
- Compile student statistical data and participate in forecasting transportation requirements.
- Utilize transportation software programs to enter and retrieve transportation data.
- Record data on forms to evaluate the quality of student transportation services provided.
- Prepare descriptive route maps and narrative summaries for distribution.
- Perform periodic route safety and efficiency reviews, optimize routes, and recommend commuting area and route changes.
- Arrange nonrecurring transportation services supporting curricular field trips, co-curricular sports, and academic enrichment activities.
- Participate with school representatives in monitoring and evaluating student transportation requirements and effectiveness.
- Conduct day-to-day operations for designated schools to provide timely and efficient transportation service.

- This position requires a Tier 1 (T1) investigation with Childcare Checks since its duties require interaction with children and youth under the age of eighteen (18) years of age.
- This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- You will be required to sign a mobility agreement, be available for worldwide placement, and be willing to rotate to any DoDEA location.
- Must be able to satisfy the requirements of the 26JUL12 DODI 1400.25 V1230, DoD Civilian Personnel Management System: Employment in Foreign Areas and Employee Return Rights.
- Individuals hired from the Continental United States (CONUS) and their family members (who are US citizens) are required to obtain Official Passports prior to departure to the overseas area.

Specialized Experience GS-06:One year of specialized experience which includes compiling administrative packets/documents for review; utilizing computer software to verify information; and assisting with transportation operations and/or processes. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
Specialized Experience GS-07:One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with budget forecasting; utilizing automated systems or databases in support of a transportation program; and assisting with the improvement of transportation operations or processes. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
