IT Master Data Specialist (m / w / d) hybrid (50% remote)

Our client is an international chemical company. At the Leverkusen site, we are looking for a temporary employee for an initial period of 6 months as an IT Master Data Specialist.

Become a member of the Master Data workstream within our strategic S / 4HANA transformation project. This role focuses on ensuring quality assurance during the critical testing phase to guarantee seamless integration and optimal functionality.

Main Responsibilities

• Characterization and optimization of business partner master data
• Familiarization with newly defined processes and support in their implementation
• Functional testing of new developments, including applications and interfaces
• Careful documentation of test results and creation of test reports
• Close collaboration with developers for identifying and resolving errors
• Support in quality assurance and improvement of master data quality

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in master data management for business partners
• In-depth knowledge of S / 4HANA and SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)
• Basic knowledge of SAP Cloud4Customer, SAP Ariba, or Workday is advantageous
• Experience in conducting software tests and applying test methods
• Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working
• Excellent communication skills and team orientation
• Very good command of English, both written and spoken - German is an advantage
