Qt Group is looking for a Senior Key Account Manager to join our EMEA Key Accounts team based in Germany.

As a Senior Key Account Manager, your primary focus will be to cultivate and expand relationships with C-level leaders and managers within key enterprise accounts across the EMEA region. You'll act as a trusted advisor, driving organic growth by developing and executing smart business strategies, managing the full sales cycle, and aligning cross-functional teams to present a unified Qt vision. This role offers the opportunity to shape market opportunities and build long-term, impactful partnerships within a dynamic and innovative environment.

You will:

  • Build relationships with C-Level leaders and managers, becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Manage and control the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close.
  • Set and execute smart business strategies for the assigned key accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strategic long-term trusting relationships with the assigned accounts to accomplish organic growth and long-term company objectives.
  • Plan and manage at the strategic, operational, and tactical customer-facing levels.
  • Align with solution engineers, customer success organization, and regional sales leadership teams to present a consistent Qt vision to our customers and achieve sales goals.
  • Interface with product management, industry business developments leads, and marketing organizations to help guide vertical product and professional service direction and production of sales plays.

About you:

  • Good technical background, minimum of Bachelor Degree in a technical or business field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience selling development tools, embedded technology or similar.
  • Expertise in Automotive or Industrial Automation.
  • Familiarity with Software Development tools and Software Development Life Cycle is a plus.
  • Experience developing business opportunities within the EMEA enterprise communities.
  • Enterprise sales experience with complex solutions with an understanding of software licensing.
  • Proven track record of successful personal sales pipeline management and results.
  • Experienced in vertical market solution sales.
  • Proven experience gaining access to decision makers and establishing strategic relationships and successes for long-term partnerships.
  • Business development experience in a strategic enterprise sales environment within a highly matrixed, global organization.
  • Interfaces directly with customer decision-makers to shape market opportunities.
  • Proven track record of building satisfied, loyal customers.
  • Knowledge in value-based selling, solution selling, and creating long-term business relationships in the software licensing industry.
  • Target driven and results focused personality with a goal to deliver overachievement against clear objectives and business development targets.
  • Consultative 'questioning' and Active Listening approach.
  • Sales Trainings (MEDDPICC) and experience with SalesForce are a plus.
  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and collaboration skills along with strong planning ability.
  • Able to work independently in an environment that changes rapidly.
  • Native German and advanced English communication skills both verbal and written (English is our corporate language).
