What you'll do

Our team is developing and maintaining a software tool to update SAP’s S/4 Hana Public cloud systems. The software is developed with a Scrum based development process, primarily using Java and ABAP programming languages. You will work in an agile team with modern open-source frameworks. To ensure the high quality of the tool, a comprehensive test suite was built over time. This test suite is based on Junit4 and should be updated to Junit5, while also aiming to reduce the long runtime of the entire test suite.

What you bring

• Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
• Preferred field of study: computer science, applied mathematics, business informatics, or any field involving math, statistics, and programming (e.g., bioinformatics, physics, econometrics)
• Good programming skills, preferably in Java, or willingness to learn Java
• Knowledge of frameworks like Spring, Flowable, Maven, Junit, Jenkins is a plus
• Familiarity with the Linux command line, GitHub, Docker is advantageous
• Languages: Fluency in English (at least B1) and fluency in German (at least B1)
