Your role in our team

• Design, implementation and optimization of data management infrastructure: database, data warehouse, data lake
• Ensure scalability, flexibility and maintainability of the data solutions
• Integrate data from various sources in target system
• Building and maintaining data pipelines to extract, transform and load data from various sources
• Design and implementation of data models to enable efficient data usage
• Support of the data governance
• Monitoring and troubleshooting of data pipelines
• Represent the team and our key initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
• Mentoring team members
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to create insights
• Collaboration with Oerlikon business departments counterparts advising and supporting the design of data applications

Your Profile

• Completed studies in computer science/mathematics/engineering or similar
• Min. 5-7 Years of relevant working experience
• Excellent language skills in English, German beneficial
• Experience with established data manipulation languages (SQL and Python)
• Strong experience in data modeling, data management and data querying (DWH, SQL/noSQL)
• Setting up ETL pipelines (python, spark) in a cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS)
• Experience in Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery and Infrastructure as Code
• Familiar with data infrastructure and data governance
• Experience in project management is a plus including the ability to communicate with various internal and external partners
• Capability to solve complex tasks in a dynamic and challenging environment
• Self-motivated & organized, ambitious and achievement driven
