Job Description: HSE Manager (m/w/d)

Location: Hamburg

A leading global provider of innovative equipment and services for pile installation, specializing in onshore and offshore wind energy projects. With over 150 years of experience, the company sets standards in foundation construction and plays a crucial role in the development of renewable energy.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a proactive, preventive, and positive QHSE culture to protect people, assets, and the environment.
• Ensure compliance with German and international laws and standards, such as the Occupational Health and Safety Act, DGUV regulations, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and the Circular Economy Act.
• Develop, maintain, and further develop an integrated management system (IMS) and conduct regular internal and external audits.
• Monitor and manage incidents, near-misses, and hazards in onshore and offshore areas, and develop sustainable solutions.
• Plan and conduct risk analyses, and create and revise risk assessments and operating instructions.

Requirements

• Completed studies or further training in occupational safety (e.g., safety engineer) or comparable qualifications.
• Several years of professional experience as a QHSE manager, management representative, or in a comparable position, ideally in the offshore industry.
• In-depth knowledge of national and international HSE standards and practical experience with management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
• Additional offshore certificates such as BOSIET, HUET, GWO, or STCW are an advantage.
• Strong skills in analyzing and solving complex problems, especially in accident management and prevention.
