Project Manager Electronic Systems (m/f/d)

As a Project Manager for Electronic Systems Development, you will lead projects focused on the development and production of electronic units for satellites. In this role, you will manage a multidisciplinary team of experts to create custom-built products that meet specific customer requirements, often pushing the boundaries of technical feasibility. Your Tasks

• Lead multidisciplinary, international project teams, comprising members from the Electronic Systems Department and other specialist departments, to develop, manufacture, and test electronic units for satellites
• Act as the primary interface between project teams and both internal and external customers
• Plan and coordinate design activities, component procurement, manufacturing, testing, and qualification processes
• Develop and maintain project schedules and reports to ensure effective project tracking
• Define objectives and monitor progress during regular project team meetings
• Organize and conduct design and project reviews with internal stakeholders and external customers
• Regularly report project status updates to company management
• Manage project budgets and cost estimations
• Write proposals and lead proposal teams for upcoming projects

Your Qualifications

• Academic degree in a technical field (e.g., Electronics, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering) or a comparable qualification
• Strong interpersonal skills and team leadership experience
• Practical experience in managing development projects, ideally within the space industry
• Basic knowledge of electronics and electronic design automation (EDA) software
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German is beneficial but not required
