Staff Engineer - Remote

Our client is a global tech company looking for an experienced Engineering Leader to design and build scalable, high-performance services and applications. This role involves leading technical initiatives, ensuring security, reliability, and scalability, and aligning development efforts with business goals.

Your Responsibilities

1. Design and develop scalable microservices & APIs
2. Ensure security, performance & reliability of applications
3. Lead cross-functional collaboration across teams
4. Optimize system performance through proactive monitoring
5. Mentor senior developers & drive high-impact code reviews

What You Bring

1. 15+ years of experience in software development & architecture
2. Strong expertise in backend services, APIs & cloud platforms (Google Cloud preferred)
3. Knowledge of frontend frameworks & system integrations
4. Experience with secure development practices & databases
5. Excellent problem-solving & leadership skills

Nice to Have

1. Experience with GraphQL, OAuth & OpenID Connect
2. Contributions to open-source projects or technical blogs
