Global Product Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will play a key role as a technology expert, designing and developing modern software architectures. You will be responsible for designing innovative solutions to meet business and customer needs, while ensuring scalability, security and robustness. You will play a strategic role in project planning, provide technical leadership and promote excellence in product development. As a trusted partner to our stakeholders, your expertise in cyber security, intellectual property and architecture will drive the creation of high value solutions. The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-Hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

1. Leading product development teams with expertise in cybersecurity, intellectual property and architecture, translating business requirements into scalable and robust technical architectures. Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to improve design and ensure alignment with functional and non-functional requirements.
2. Work closely with Product and Project Managers to define project scope, features, and estimates, and identify new opportunities for digital applications. Provide strategic input into product roadmaps and ensure alignment with business goals.
3. Manage customer pilots, root cause analysis and bug fixes in the installed base. Implement feedback loops to continuously adapt and improve software solutions to ensure high usability and value delivery.
4. Provide technical guidance, leadership, and mentoring to team members. Facilitate software support, training, and consulting services for clients, while promoting intellectual property creation and safeguarding patentable innovations.

Qualifications for the role

• You are highly skilled in industrial software development, particularly in areas like automation, manufacturing execution systems, industrial data historians, and industrial data analytics. Experience in industrial application, like in Chemical, Pharma, Batch processes is a plus.
• You have 8-10 years of experience in software architecture and design, with expertise in approaches like Clean and Onion Architecture, and proven knowledge of service-oriented design for application development. Experience with frontend development of single-page application is an added advantage to the profile.
• You possess advanced skills in C# programming, including ASP.NET Core Webservices, Windows Services, LINQ, EF Core, and Signal-R, as well as strong experience with MS SQL Server for database management, queries, Stored Procedures, Triggers, and performance profiling.
• You are passionate about clean code, continuous improvement, and working in agile environments like Scrum. You bring innovative problem-solving skills to every challenge.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or extensive professional experience in these areas.
• You are at ease communicating in German and English.
