For our location in Oberpfaffenhofen, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Lead for E-AIT (m/f/d) to oversee and drive our electrical integration projects forward.

In this key role, you will lead all electrical aspects within the AIT (Electrical Assembly, Integration, and Test) phase and manage a team of up to 5 E-AIT engineers. You will ensure that the electrical integration of our spacecraft runs smoothly and meets the stringent quality standards required in the space industry.

Your Tasks

• Team Leadership and Coordination: Provide technical leadership and coordination within the E-AIT team, managing task distribution and supporting engineers with technical challenges to ensure successful project delivery.
• Electrical System Integration: Plan, execute and oversee the electrical assembly, integration, and functional testing of all systems and subsystems.
• Wiring and Power Supply: Ensure optimal wiring and power supply integration for all electrical components, including harness and connector verification.
• Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Identify and resolve electrical issues during the testing phase to guarantee maximum reliability and functionality.
• Verification and End-to-End Testing: Conduct system and interface tests as well as comprehensive end-to-end verifications for all electrical systems.
• Interface Management and Communication: Collaborate closely with other departments and provide regular updates to project management to optimize integration and testing efficiency.

Your Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in electrical integration, ideally in the space industry or similar high-tech sectors.
• Proven experience in leading and coordinating technical teams.
• Strong expertise in electrical system integration and troubleshooting.
• Structured, solutions-oriented approach to work and a strong commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication skills, team spirit, fluency in English.
