Lead Technical Artist - Berlin
Are you an experienced Technical Artist ready to lead the tech art area of a dynamic and visually stunning game? Snowprint Studios is looking for a Lead Technical Artist for our game Tacticus, someone who can not only enhance the artistic vision of our games but also ensure smooth technical execution.
At Snowprint, you’ll work alongside a talented team of artists and developers, driving art processes, pushing the boundaries of mobile game visuals, and refining tools and workflows. You'll also ensure top performance and stability while keeping the game visually stunning.
In this role, you’ll lead technical art efforts, implement art processes, and manage technical requirements, all while contributing to our mid-core gameplay experiences. While this is a leadership position in the technical art space, it’s not a general art lead role – the focus is on technical art excellence, not team management or career coaching.
What you will bring to our universe
Together with the team you will research, improve and innovate on our tools, rendering, and pipelines to make the life of your fellow artists as easy and smooth as possible. And with your knowledge about rendering performance you will be able to push the aesthetics of our games to the next level!
If you recognize yourself as someone with a dedicated mindset to stay aware of the industry trends and techniques, evaluate competitive products and learn new software, you are probably the one for us.
We believe you are proactive, feedback oriented, independent and with the mindset of always challenging and thinking “what can be improved and let’s try”, as well as thinking “what can I do to help my teammates”?
To succeed in this role, you also need…
Nice-to-have
If you don’t tick all the boxes, but know this is your passion and have a strong willingness to learn – don't hesitate to apply no matter who you are and let us know how you can contribute to our journey!
