Proposal Writer (m/f/d)

We are looking for a highly motivated, flexible, organized, and detail-oriented new talent to join our team as Proposal Writer (m/f/d) in Goldbach, Germany. (full time)

Your Responsibilities

1. Determine construction and facilities maintenance service proposal concept by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs; study requests for proposal (RFPs), drawings, scope of work (SOW), and technical specifications; and attend strategy meetings.
2. Read, understand, and apply Request for Proposal (RFP) information, including scope of work (SOW), drawings, and technical specifications to support the development of proposal content and accompanying graphics.
3. Meet proposal deadlines by adhering to priorities and target dates established by the Proposal Manager for information gathering, writing, review, and approval; communicate and coordinate proposal requirements with appointed contributors; communicate proposal status information at review meetings; assist the development of pink, red, and gold team review documents; and produce/transmit final proposal documents.
4. Research on personnel qualifications to identify potential candidates for key positions within the proposal.
5. Research, edit, and create descriptions of ongoing and/or completed company projects that describe work similar in scope to specific proposal opportunities that correspond to client RFPs.
6. Assemble information to develop compliant and well-written technical and management approaches; project staffing; acceptable quality levels of performance; and project descriptions to develop proposal responses.
7. Write, revise, and edit proposal drafts.
8. Review finalized text and graphics quality for readability before production.
9. Maintain quality results by using approved templates; follow SKE proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone.
10. Obtain approvals by reviewing proposal elements with key stakeholders.
11. Take ownership for all tasks and explore new opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
    
    

YOUR PROFILE

1. University degree in Communications, Marketing, Engineering, Construction, or related discipline preferred.
2. At least 1 year of experience working with US DoD proposals is preferred.
3. Team player with experience in working in a collaborative environment.
4. Working experience in the construction/facility maintenance services field.
5. Proficiency in working with MS Office tools like Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Visio.
6. Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign).
7. Fluency in English, written and spoken.
8. Flexibility to work extended hours (as necessary).
