Product Manager - Investment Platform (m/f/x) (onsite / remote in Germany)

Job Description

Shape the future of Scalable's new fully vertically integrated investment platform. Scalable's Broker, digital Wealth Management and Credit offerings are seamlessly integrated into a newly developed technology platform. We are looking for a passionate and motivated Product Manager (PM) to own the intersection with Scalable's existing and future product offerings. As the PM, you will play a crucial role in developing our platform, ensuring that it meets the evolving needs of our clients. You will work alongside a highly motivated team of software engineers, product managers and academics implementing change in the financial industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. End-to-End Product Ownership: Own the product development process from discovery to launch, ensuring high-quality delivery of innovative solutions to challenging problems.
2. Product Strategy & Roadmap Development: Define and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap that aligns with client needs and company goals.
3. Client Experience: Implement user-centric improvements across Scalable's product offerings, ensuring that our investment platform meets the evolving expectations of our clients.
4. Stakeholder Coordination: Engage and coordinate efforts with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies to facilitate seamless integration and compliance with capital market standards.
5. Delivery Management: Coordinate resources, create timelines, and manage dependencies across teams to ensure optimal delivery of products.
6. Agile Methodologies: Utilize agile methodologies to drive product development, facilitate regular ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and cross-team syncs to enhance collaboration and transparency.

Qualifications:

1. Passion for technology, finance and digital products
2. Experience in product management ideally in the capital markets or banking domains
3. Experience in building highly scalable & reliable cloud-native, microservice-based technology platforms
4. Strong analytical thinking, leveraging both quantitative and qualitative data to drive decisions
5. Utmost attention to detail and a culture of excellence
6. Excellent communication skills that are clear, concise, and targeted towards your audience - software engineer, stakeholder or executive
7. A great understanding of and focus on customer problems and needs
8. Hands-on mentality: from ideation and research to prototype and user story, you can handle it
9. Experience with common agile working tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma and similar applications
10. Excellent English communication skills (German is advantageous but not necessary)
