Your mission

Are you a passionate motion designer who thrives on pushing the boundaries of creativity? We are looking for a Senior Motion Designer with a strong artistic vision and a deep love for motion graphics, real-time visuals, and immersive storytelling.
For over two decades, our internationally renowned multimedia design studio has been crafting groundbreaking exhibitions, interactive installations, stage productions, live performances, fashion events, and data-driven artworks. We explore the intersections of art, technology, and design, always seeking new ways to create mesmerizing experiences.
Now, we’re looking for a highly creative motion designer with expertise in Unreal Engine and motion graphics to shape the future of our visual storytelling.

YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Motion Designer, you will:

• Create visually stunning motion graphics and real-time visuals, bringing life to immersive environments and large-scale productions.
• Push the boundaries of Unreal Engine (and other Motion Graphics software), exploring innovative workflows, dynamic visuals, and procedural animation techniques.
• Develop captivating content for interactive installations, live events, and digital experiences, ensuring each project tells a compelling visual story.
• Work closely with our multidisciplinary team, collaborating with creative directors, designers, and developers to bring artistic visions to life.
• Experiment with generative design tools like TouchDesigner and Stable Diffusion, integrating cutting-edge approaches into your work.
• Stay ahead of creative trends, constantly innovating and exploring new techniques in motion design and digital art.

Your profile

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment and loves experimenting with new technologies. You should have:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in motion design, with a portfolio showcasing bold creativity and artistic excellence.
• Expertise in Unreal Engine, with a strong understanding of animation, shading, lighting, and rendering.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects), 3D software like Cinema 4D, and Stable Diffusion. Bonus points if you're familiar with Touch Designer or Blender!
• A passion for interactive and immersive experiences, with experience in projects such as exhibitions, live performances, or multimedia installations.
• An experimental mindset, always looking to push the limits of motion design and explore new creative possibilities.
• Fluency in German and English, and residency in Berlin. EU work permit is mandatory.
• A solid technical knowledge of understanding live installation.
• You like to travel and implement your work on premise.

• A competitive salary, up to €4,600 per month, based on experience and skills.

• A full-time role in our office in Berlin with the flexibility of an optional home office.

• A 1-year contract to start, with the goal of long-term collaboration.
