Your position involves the planning, installation, and maintenance of a network for real-time control applications based on Synchronous Ethernet and the White Rabbit extension of the Precision Time Protocol IEEE 1588. The focus is on the central real-time control for all accelerator facilities at GSI and FAIR.Your tasks:
To apply successfully, you should have completed a degree (B.Sc. with work experience, FH-degree) in computer science or comparable qualifications, and meet the mandatory profile requirements. In addition, this position demands high conceptual work abilities. The many interconnections with other departments require excellent teamwork and communication skills, as well as a passion for structured and detail-oriented work.
