We are looking for a B2B Content Writer fluent in German to help create compelling informative and engaging content. Your work will play a vital role in articulating the value of our technically complex product to diverse audiences while upholding our mission and values.

Tasks

1. Write blog posts, case studies, whitepapers and content for campaigns aimed at educating and engaging B2B audiences about the company’s software products and product launches.
2. Write website copy, video scripts and narratives for software product launches.
3. Develop product-focused content that addresses pain points and solutions specific to target industries.
4. Translate and adapt English content tailored to the German-speaking market.
5. Ensure content aligns with and supports marketing objectives and OKRs.
6. Optimize content for search engines (SEO) ensuring high visibility on relevant keywords.
7. Use SEO best practices for creating compelling headlines using keyword-rich copy and structuring content for both humans and search engines.
8. Maintain a consistent tone of voice across all content ensuring alignment with the company’s branding and messaging.
9. Adapt the style of writing for different audiences whether it’s for executives, developers or potential clients.
10. Use analytics tools to track the performance of content and iterate based on data.
11. Regularly update and refresh old content based on performance and evolving software features.

Requirements

1. Proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or in a similar role within a relevant field such as software development, engineering or IT operations.
2. Degree in Technical Communication, Information Technology, Communications, English, Marketing, Journalism or a related field. A background in Technical Communication or a technical discipline (e.g. Information Technology, Engineering) is a plus.
3. Strong business/technical writing skills with the ability to create clear, purposeful and professional communication for business contexts.
4. Experience in document design ensuring content is well-organized, visually appealing and optimized for readability and user engagement.
5. Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
6. Understanding of SEO principles and how to optimize content for search engines.
7. Ability to analyze competitors’ content and understand market trends.
8. Ability to adapt writing style for various content formats such as blogs, whitepapers, case studies and social media.
9. German and English essential; other languages beneficial.
10. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
