CASCO Schoeller GmbH and Casco Holdings GmbH are part of an international American conglomerate with leading activities in the automotive supply industry. Casco Group currently employs around employees and designs, develops, produces, and distributes innovative electromechanical products and sensors for many customers in the automotive industry worldwide.

To support our sales team, we are currently looking for :

As a Key Account Manager at our company, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain key relationships with our most important clients. You will be responsible for understanding their needs, providing strategic solutions, and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services. This position offers the chance to drive growth and revenue for the company while also building valuable connections in the industry. The main job responsibilities include managing the current a base commercial business and developing new business opportunities in automotive electronics.

Job summary :

  • Commercial Management
  • Key window person for OEM purchasing contacts
  • Build sustainable strong working relationship with customers
  • Lead and coordinate customer interface — meetings, presentations, internet communication and any required customer forms or website support
  • Manage pricing and margins
  • Track and manage product and tooling purchase orders
  • Provide on-time quotations and required customer documentation
  • Communicate customer requests internally to ensure timely response
  • Support other departments (such as engineering, program management, quality, finance and logistics) to resolve any customer issues as requested
  • Follow the Casco sales process to ensure compliance to IATF and other quality process requirements
  • Develop New Business Opportunities
  • Drive new business generation to achieve sales growth objectives with new products and / or new customers
  • Work with Sales Management and Product Line teams to develop commercial strategies for new business growth and margin targets
  • Monitor competitors and communicate information to team
  • Obtain and communicate advanced information on customer technical needs
  • Identify future products and technology needs for automotive market and report to management / product team
  • Develop customer specific annual short and long-range sales plans

Requirements :

  • Demonstrated success in opening new business for the Automotive Market (Business Development Mindset)
  • Demonstrated success in managing profitable automotive account (Account Manager)
  • Demonstrated experience with European OEMs in Light Vehicle and Heavy Vehicle Industry (experience with German or French OEMs as an asset, experience with Customer Supplier Portals an asset).
  • Excellent leadership, teamplayer and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong analytical, reasoning, and self-organization skills
  • Tenurity in Automotive processes, requirements, and methodologies
  • Commercial aptitude (confidence to work with Profit & Loss, Cost Break Downs, Product Income Statement, etc)
  • Technical / Engineering aptitude (confidence to promote, understand and discuss product, product development and manufacturing requirements to a certain extent)
  • Bachelor / Master (technical major as an asset)
  • Legal aptitude (confidence to discuss legal aspects with customer counterparts and Casco / Amphenol internal organization)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Proficiency in German, English (French as an asset)
  • Willingness to travel
