Computer Scientist for Laboratory Supervision and Laboratory Exercises with Students (m/f/d)

Your Tasks:
The scope of duties essentially includes the conception and implementation of laboratory exercises as well as IT coordination in the laboratories for the two degree programs Applied Computer Science (AI) and Business Administration-Digital Business Management (DBM) in close coordination with the respective program directors.
In detail, the activity includes the following areas of responsibility:
- Supporting lecturers in laboratory courses and projects in applied computer science in the field of computer science, digitization and artificial intelligence
- Preparation and implementation of experiments and laboratory exercises in accordance with the applicable occupational safety regulations in the two degree programs Applied Computer Science (AI) and Business Administration-Digital Business Management (DBM) as well as general support for the respective program directors
- Installation and operation of server systems (Windows/Linux)
- IT coordination (material management, carrying out maintenance and repair work, inventory)
- Advice and support for students and teaching staff
Your Profile:- A relevant technical degree is required, preferably in the fields of computer science, electrical engineering, business informatics or a comparable subject area
- Good knowledge in the following areas would be desirable:
- Windows and Linux knowledge (especially administration of server systems)
- Programming knowledge preferably in Python, Java, C/C++
- Experience in working with Raspberry Pi, Arduino and/or Nvidia components
- Initial contact with the topics of artificial intelligence, IT security, virtualization and networking
- Independent and autonomous way of working
- Good comprehension and willingness to perform
- Communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Experience in project management and a good command of English would be an advantage
Our Offer:- Remuneration according to pay group 12 of the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L)
