Further develop your expertise and join our team as Senior Scientist I/II (all genders) Laboratory Automation Specialist (permanent / full-time). In this role, you will support the automation efforts in the various departments of development sciences both locally and globally.
You will be responsible for the evaluation of workflows and finding viable options for automation of routine workflows. You are coordinating the implementation plans and will make sure that systems can be efficiently used. You’ll do hands-on work on the systems in place and will develop a strategy on the path forward bringing in state-of-the-art equipment building world-class solutions.

Senior Scientist I:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and typically, 10 years of experience, Master’s Degree or equivalent education and typically 8 years of experience, PhD and no (some) experience necessary.
Senior Scientist II:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and typically, 12 years of experience, Master’s Degree or equivalent education and typically 10 years of experience, PhD and typically 4 years of experience.
Master of Science/PhD in biochemistry/ pharmacy/ biology/ chemistry or related subjects > 3 years of hands-on experience in laboratory automation.
Hands-on experience in the implementation of laboratory automation in a GLP regulated environment.
Strong networking skills.
Multiple years of experience in lab-automation especially using HAMILTON systems.
Strong analytic thinking and problem-solving skills, proven track record for tackling complex issues and problems, and the ability to manage them to successful conclusions.
Familiarity with GxP systems and CFR part 11 compliance and sound understanding of GLP/GCP.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, where results are achieved through incorporation of multiple points of view.
Excellent communication skills.
Programming knowledge and database mining experience is a plus.
Fluent German and English, written and spoken.
