IT Database Administrator (m / f / d)

Your job:

1. Consulting, design and conception of new database management systems on-premise and in the cloud
2. Planning and management of lifecycle measures for the database technologies for which the team is responsible, such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, mySQL, mongoDB, InfluxDB
3. Creation and further development of database architectures, as well as backup and recovery concepts
4. Monitoring, optimization and automation of the global database landscape
5. Development and implementation of IT security measures to ensure secure and resilient database operation

Your qualification:

1. Degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification
2. Several years of professional experience in consulting and designing database systems as well as good knowledge of infrastructure and platform solutions (Windows, RHEL)
3. Experience in scripting and automation using SQL, shell scripts and Powershell
4. Knowledge of archiving technologies is desirable
5. Experience with agile methods is an advantage (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
6. Business fluent in German and English
7. Hands-on mentality, high level of initiative and enjoy working in an international team
