The Team The aim of performance measurement is to provide a detailed overview of investment performance, measured against individual investor benchmarks and precise quantitative data that can be used in further investment decisions as part of an ongoing portfolio management process. Performance measurement is an integral part of our active client support and commitment to transparency. Clear reports are not only helpful in evaluating an entire portfolio. They can be particularly important in analyzing the impact of components of exposure to individual markets and asset classes on the overall performance of a mandate. Performance measurement techniques are evolving dynamically. The most current measurement system can quickly become obsolete. Therefore, we are constantly developing additional risk and attribution analysis methodologies with the goal of maintaining the industry's highest asset management standards and best practices in all aspects of performance measurement.
Responsibilities: - The calculation, analysis and reporting of monthly performance attributions, in coordination with portfolio management and other reporting recipients
- Performing calculations of performance metrics, and if required, explaining the findings and underlying methodology to Relationship Managers and institutional clients
- Performing ad-hoc evaluations and analyses
- Responsible for defining procedures and operating processes in line with regulatory/ industry/functional specifications, striving to continuously improve these processes
- Measure, manage and articulate (potential) procedural risks and define appropriate actions for mitigation and long-term avoidance
- Vendor management of relevant services provided to the Operations Segment
- Maintain or further develop our analyses used for reconciliation with the help of Office 365, VBA, Power Automate, Access databases, SQL and Excel
- Last, but not least, you will independently carry out internal business unit projects
Requirements: - A degree in business mathematics or business administration (focus on finance and banking), alternatively several years of professional experience in the area of performance measurement and risk figures of capital market products
- Good knowledge in the areas of investment accounting, FX, fixed income, equity products as well as performance calculation and risk analysis
- Completed, current or aspiring CFA/CIPM or CIIA training
- Knowledge of GIPS guidelines, performance fee calculation and regulatory requirements such as KIID and PRIIPS helpful
- Experience with systems such as Aladdin, StatPro, Sim Corp Dimension, Coric helpful
- Programming knowledge in VBA, SQL, Python or similar programming languages
- Business fluent in written and spoken English, German helpful
- Committed, stress-resistant, analytical thinking with a strong sense of responsibility and knowing how to set priorities and strong communication skills, team spirit as well as an independent, meticulous way of working
