ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Director, Content Partnership - France/Italy oversees publisher relationships, negotiations, and catalogue performance for our audiobook vendors in the European growth markets of France, Italy, and other upcoming new marketplaces.
In this role, you will lead regional teams in managing publisher relationships, negotiating deal terms, and driving agreements for audiobook vendors across different markets, to help deliver the leading spoken word catalogue for our audience in the respective marketplaces. Publisher relationships will be cultivated in close coordination with our global and European content teams.

Minimum Requirements:
- 7+ years of relevant experience in international intellectual property rights licensing businesses (preferably from the book, television, film or computer game industry) to create agreements where there is no precedent.
- Experience conducting complex, high profile negotiations that rely on economic and financial understanding to achieve the goals of the company, from initiation through closing.
- People management experience.
- Negotiation experience in French and/or Italian, in addition to English.
- Experience with quantitative and analytical skills, including generating reports, analyzing data, and identifying trends.
