Director Product Marketing HPC Microcontroller products (f/m/d), Düsseldorf

Performance Objectives

In this role, a successful candidate will:

1. Strategize, plan and manage the activity related to MCU infrastructure business development within the assigned product lines and markets.
2. Achieve Renesas design-wins on focus products in target applications by positioning our value proposition at the Customers via providing fitting products.
3. Possess existing relationships with the key executives and engineering leads at the agreed target markets.
4. Formulate, initiate & implement the business strategy and engagement plan to influence the sales and BU teams to enable MCU business growth.
5. Implement platform & solution selling at the specified OEMs, Tier 1s and Broader Market. Work together with BU and Sales team to support and manage customers design cycle from prototyping to mass production by providing planning, execution and support for the products.
6. Develop relevant executive relationships with customer’s R&D and purchasing management, implement strategic initiatives and drive application discussions with relevant teams inside the organization.
7. Foster strong team culture based on accountability, execution of strategic targets and teamwork.

Job Qualifications

1. Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, with strong Microcontroller background.
2. Significant work experience in OEM and Tier 1 business and related requirements.
3. Minimum 10 years of Automotive Semiconductor industry related experience with experience in Product Marketing.
4. Willing to travel.
5. Demonstrated ability to manage project teams to achieve targets and increase OEM, Tier 1 and Broader Market penetration.

As Director for a HPC 32 Bit Microcontroller product line, the candidate will be responsible for managing Global 32 Bit Microcontroller development and coordination to help position Renesas for leadership in focused automotive and industrial applications by leveraging product knowledge, application expertise, business development, strong 3rd party relationships and internal cross-functional collaboration with OEMs, Tier 1 and partners.
