The Director of Materials and Supply Chain EMEA is responsible for creating, articulating, and supporting Pall’s DMS (Danaher Material Systems) Strategy throughout the materials teams globally. This role includes working with and providing direction for Materials Managers on-site to tailor and execute the PFEP based on Regional/Market nuances, with a goal to create a responsive end-to-end supply chain environment in cooperation with our Strategic Sourcing partners.

Responsibilities include:

1. Deploy site goals and targets by aligning global targets for materials managers.
2. Develop PFEP standards & planning strategies and a holistic end-to-end planning process.
3. Support & maintain strategic subcontractors and OEM business, ensuring they meet capacity, price, and quality demands.
4. Support Global Sourcing Team by knowing the EMEA sourcing market for our products and services.
5. Develop PFEP standards aligned to Global commodity strategies and provide feedback to the sourcing team to influence supplier decisions impacting inventory & service levels.
6. Drive IMAG Tools & Standards ensuring problem-solving processes and resolution.
7. Drive use of Kanban & DMS throughout the Materials Organization.
8. Assign SMART Inventory goals to Materials teams globally in collaboration with Finance and sourcing, using Pall DMS Tools and Best practices.

The essential requirements of the job include:

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
2. 5+ years of experience in materials planning and procurement in an international manufacturing and supply chain environment.
3. 5+ years of experience in inventory management, logistics, demand planning, and scheduling.
4. 5+ years of proven functional leadership experience within procurement and inventory management.
5. 5+ years of experience supporting new business opportunities with supplier technical innovation.
6. 5+ years of experience using continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
7. 5+ years of working with ERP Systems based on MRP.
8. Strong proficiency in German and English is essential for effective communication.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

1. Knowledge of the Global Marketplace with experience ideally in filtration and separation processes or related disciplines.
2. Experience in developing business strategy and leading strategic initiatives.
3. Good record of KPIs improvement, on-time delivery, lead time, cost and inventory reduction, Supplier development, etc.
