Director M&A - Renewables Energy

Build and lead the M&A department with a focus on projects and companies in the renewable energy sector

Develop and implement M&A strategies to identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets

Lead the entire M&A process from due diligence through negotiations to integration

Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including investment bankers, lawyers, consultants, and potential target companies

Analyze and assess market trends and opportunities in the renewable energy sector to support the bank's strategic direction

Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management and the board

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies

Develop and maintain networks within the industry to identify potential partnerships and growth opportunities

Lead and develop a highly skilled team of M&A professionals

The Person :

A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

15+ years of professional experience in M&A, with a focus on renewable energy or related sectors

Proven experience in successfully executing M&A transactions, including due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and integration

Excellent analytical skills and the ability to develop and interpret complex financial models

Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams

Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English

Strategic mindset with strong business acumen and a high degree of results orientation
