In this role, the team member drives the development and management of impactful Develop-ment application systems and Organizational Change Management (OCM) capabilities for our R&D associates worldwide. Collaborates with external service partners to ensure the delivery of top-notch services aligned with our R&D Learning and Development strategy. Provides comprehensive training content across various modalities and formats, fostering engagement, enhancing expertise, and empowering learners to take ownership of their learning paths. De-velop and implement change management strategies to facilitate the adoption and effective utilization of RD systems globally.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Application System Training:
- Develop a strategic vision and roadmap for the training program in coordination with cross-functional departments such as RD, HR, and QA.
- Identify training needs driven by system upgrades, innovative technology im-plementations, and industry standards evolution.
- Design, create, and implement training programs that align with organizational goals and individual development needs, leveraging external delivery models and diverse instructional techniques.
- Continuously evaluate training effectiveness and enhance learning experiences based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of training initiatives with business objectives and departmental goals.
- Monitor training completion and maintain accurate records while identifying and addressing performance gaps through targeted interventions.
- Organizational Change Management:
- Engage key stakeholders across the organization to build buy-in and support for Development system application changes.
- Create communication plans, stakeholder engagement strategies, and training programs to support change initiatives, leveraging external delivery partners.
- Facilitate regular communication channels to encourage open dialogue and ad-dress stakeholder concerns.
- Assess training needs and develop comprehensive plans to enable users to ef-fectively utilize Development application systems.
- Monitor user adoption rates, identify areas of resistance, and implement inter-ventions to address barriers.
- Conduct change impact assessments to evaluate readiness for Development application system changes and measure the success of change initiatives.
Education & Professional Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred
- 10+ years of scientific and technical learning design experience, to include leading learning program design efforts in R&D application / systems required
- Prior experience in Pharmaceutical Research & Development is required
- Skilled in working with complex content and designing learning for multiple delivery modalities (traditional classroom, online classroom, and self-paced e-Learning mo-dules), delivered through an outsourced delivery partner
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical R&D processes, systems, and technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent Organization Change Management skills in Pharmaceutical R&D
- Proven success in leading complex change management initiatives
- Ability to develop learning solutions with measurable business impact
- Skill in navigating ambiguity and managing resistance in evolving projects
- Familiarity with learning metrics and assessment tools
- Proficiency in diverse learning methods and their alignment with subject matter
- Ability to travel up to 20% globally
