This role is essential for primarily developing, as well as maintaining and improving direct customer contacts and relationships in line with the defined "Go to Market" philosophy. By engaging with our customers through digital and remote sales tools from the office, and collaborating with other Sales Engineers in the team, you will work towards delivering the company's ambitious growth targets. The focus is on selling and promoting products, services, concepts, and solutions offered by the Measurement Solutions Business Unit.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Establishing, expanding and acquiring new customers as the first point of contact for comprehensive customer support
• Support of an existing customer base
• Regular support and advice for technical and commercial contacts
• Active offer tracking and project follow-up
• Preparing customer inquiries for processing by the internal sales team
• Monitoring and reporting of customer-specific key figures
• Development and maintenance of customer networks

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Commercial or technical degree, apprenticeship or equivalent experience
• Affinity towards technology and a good technical understanding
• CRM & MS Office tools
• Proficiency in English and German language
• Willingness to travel up to 15% (mainly for trainings)

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Experience in industrial automation environment; with a good knowledge of similar technical (measurement) products and understanding of similar industries (e.g. chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, power, life science)
• Interest in energy efficiency and sustainability
• Knowledge of additional languages (French, Italian or other)
