Digital Infrastructure Services Engineer (m / w / d) – hybrid

You will support a range of IT infrastructure systems and networking environments across our locations, to include On-Prem, Cloud infrastructure to support business operations. In that role you will work with in-house teams, Service providers and other third parties to support ongoing operations and introduce new projects / technologies as needed to deliver effective, efficient and value-for-money services.

As a Digital Infrastructure Services Engineer you will also enhance operations through the implementation of standards and assist in the implementation of exciting new infrastructure areas across the EMEA region.

Your Responsibilities :

• Manage and Maintain Systems Infrastructure, covering operational requirements across areas such as physical and hyper-converged platforms & cloud based platforms, underlying operating systems and associated layered functions.
• Manage and Maintain Network Infrastructure, covering operational requirements across areas such as TCP / IP Networking across WAN / LAN.
• Participate in continuous improvement and development activities in order to achieve common standards and realization of global standards.
• Assist in the development, support and execution site recovery in BCP scenarios, in conjunction with other teams.
• Project management on selected projects and initiatives.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of internal knowledge base repository.

Your Qualifications and Skills :

• Several years experience working in a second / third line position in hands-on complex IT environments.
• Analytical skills to facilitate troubleshooting across a variety of supported systems.
• Good English and German Speaking communication skills (written / oral / presentation).
• Good organizational skills in order to self-manage and prioritize busy workloads.
