IE Business Solutions (IE BS) strengthens SAP's revenue stream by enabling new business models, driving our cloud and digitization journey to deliver continuous customer and business value. We do this by implementing integrated and scalable business technology products, striving for the best user experience, and influencing SAP's product development, applying embedded innovation such as Machine Learning, Analytics and RPA into product delivery, and enabling our people to grow as professionals.

As part of the IES Agile Transformation journey, Intelligent Enterprise Business Solutions (IE BS) has created a new L3 Business Engagement capability. We are now seeking a talented and highly motivated working student with passion and enthusiasm for business data/process optimization to build up this newly created Value Analysis unit, to fulfill our commitment to deliver process insights and data mining to our customers by leveraging SAP Signavio Process Insights and Intelligence throughout IE BS.

Functional capabilities of Value Analysis:

• Leverages process mining and contributes to excellence for our digital business models
• Assesses implementations by introducing SAP Signavio Process Insights and Process Intelligence
• Ensures minimum viable products’ (MVP) value is realized through feedback loops
• Provides visibility into our real transactional/process execution to inform our product engineering, business support and process design teams
• Enable these teams to prepare decisions for business, based on process insights and value

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Working Student (f/m/d) who enjoys assisting with varied engagement(s), project(s) and/or program(s) and interacting with other colleagues and different stakeholders SAP-wide. The main area of responsibility will be the support of our internal team of Process Value Analysts with further improving of the standard processes specifically Sales, Fulfillment and Finance; and maintaining a comprehensive view of value and how that data is used to facilitate Business decisions.

The related tasks include, but may not be limited to:

• Assist with data analysis of the relevant business process and systems
• Actively participate in team workshops and proactively collaborate on action items
• Help providing ready-to-consume insights and root cause analysis to improve process performance and gain efficiencies
• Support the Value Analysis team with research, as-is process analysis and process optimization proposals
• Collaborate with continuous monitoring, assessment, and closed loop analysis of business process improvements to determine what has been designed and implemented is executed at scale in our transactional systems
• Continuously striving for process and tool optimization & process adoption
• Help define and establish team collaboration and communication tools

This position will provide you:

• In-depth look into the end-to-end business processes specifically Sales, Fulfillment and Finance and the related systems e.g.: ISP, Harmony Quote, etc.
• Understanding about SAP Signavio solutions e.g.: Business Process Insight, Business Process Intelligence.
• Partnering with the business (intern end-users) and hands-on experience on how to create scalable end-to-end business processes that achieve desired business outcomes.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
• Preferred fields of study: Bachelor or Master students of Business, Engineering, Technology, Business Informatics, Business Administration, VWL/BWL Economy, or similar with at least 3 semesters left to finish studies.
• Computer skills: MS Office applications, especially PowerPoint (required), Excel, collaboration tools like Mural.
• Language skills: Fluent German and English, with strong writing skills.
• Soft skills: Curiosity, and willingness to learn about new technologies, concepts, and tools. Goal-oriented team player with excellent communication and presentation skills and able to work independently and proactively. Enthusiastic about process optimization. Solution-oriented and can-do attitude.
• Others: already experience as a working student, preferably at SAP.
